At MakeIt, sustainability is not a buzzword – it’s part of the product itself.
We primarily work with three carefully selected materials: cotton straps, bio-leather, and sewing thread. Each material is chosen with care for quality, environment, and traceability.
Bio-leather from Italy
Our bio-leather is 100% animal-free and made from bio-based and plant-based materials extracted from agricultural waste. It comes from the Italian manufacturer Viridis Leather and is naturally OEKO-TEX® 100 certified. A material that’s good for the skin, good for animals, and good for the environment.
Recycled cotton straps
Our cotton straps consist of 90% recycled cotton and 10% polyester. They are supplied by carefully selected partners and give the products the strength and comfort that more than 50,000 lifters have learned to trust.
German sewing thread
Our sewing thread comes from German suppliers – to ensure high quality and full traceability throughout production. It’s a detail most don’t think about, but one we never compromise on.
Full control from raw material to finished product
We produce StrapIt, HookIt, Long Straps, Daisy Chain, and Wrist Wraps in our own production – from receiving raw materials to cutting straps and the sewing process. This gives us full control over quality, traceability, and working conditions, ensuring responsible and sustainable production throughout.
